Welcome to Judson!
We are so glad that you are interested in Judson International School. Our wonderful K-12 Christian school has a unique focus of being both global and Christ-centered. Born as a school for the staff of Frontier Ventures 25 years ago, our school has quickly expanded to include children from our surrounding communities, as well as children of visiting missionaries and students from countries around the world. Judson school is known for being a friendly community where students love to learn. Many of our teachers have served overseas. Our steps for international admissions are listed below.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm happy to help!

Junior High and High School
We have two programs for International junior high and high school students at Judson School. For international students, junior high is grades 6-8 and high school is grades 9-12. Students will be assessed for English proficiency during the application process and also upon arrival, and placed in one of two programs:
1) Regular Program
If a student has reached proficiency in English, he or she will be placed in our regular program with our local students.
2) Judson Language Academy
If a student has not reached proficiency in English, he or she will be placed in Judson Language Academy, a one-year intensive English language program. Students will have English Language Development Classes for History, Science, English and Bible. They will join our regular program for Math and PE. Judson Language Academy will prepare students for entrance into Judson's regular program or any area junior high or high school for which they are eligible.
Judson Language Academy is a one-year program. Students will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the year. High school students will earn a year's credit in the core subjects. Upon completion of one year at Judson Language Academy, students may apply to Judson's regular program or may transfer to a different school. JLA students must complete an application process in order to enter Judson's regular program and acceptance is not guaranteed.
International students in KG - 5th grade will be part of our immersion program. This means they will enter the class of students their own age. ELD instruction and support will be given.
Judson's goal is for international students to fully experience life at an American school. We will do our best to offer students the opportunity to integrate with local students, and to make life-long friendships.
International students are encouraged to take advantage of all Judson has to offer:
- Enrichment classes
- Sports Teams
- Musical theater program
- After-school clubs
- School-sponsored social activities
- Middle school science camp
- High school multi-day college tour
Judson assists families with finding homestays for our international students wishing to live with an American family. We work with Grace Homestay for placing students in homestays. We do not offer accommodations in dorms.
